Who We Are
The Hellhounds and their female team, the Tucson Knight Witches, are the Tucson Chapter of the Armored Combat Worldwide (ACW) as well as members of the American Medieval Combat Federation (AMCF). We've also just introduced our female team,
the Tucson Knight Witches of Armored Combat.
Where we Train
The Tucson Hellhounds, and our newly formed female team, the Tucson Knight Witches, currently train at Iron Thistle Academy. It is centrally located in Tucson, AZ. We are continuing to grow within a facility that can continue to help us train, give us a place to gather, and to hold our local demos. More info to come as we build this relationship together.
The ACW
Although we host and participate in independent events and some of our fighters belong to other leagues that feature different levels of fighting and historical re-enactments, the Tucson Hellhounds are a registered Chapter of The ACW. The Armored Combat Worldwide (ACW) is a sports league, founded by Andre Sinou, that organizes competitive matches between medieval armored combat teams, referred to as "chapters." The ACW provides a framework and support system for armored combat competition both in the United States and abroad. National-level tournaments are held each year in the U.S. and international tournaments are organized in Canada and Europe whenever possible. We compete at international competitions, tours, and other showcase events around the world. You can learn more about this league at www.acwknights.com
